Meet Lacey

Lacey, a sound healing practitioner, sits cross-legged on a white rug, surrounded by crystal singing bowls. She wears a white lace top and black pants, smiling against a soft golden backdrop.

Lacey is a sound practitioner on a mission to let others know that it’s okay to not be okay and support their journey through self-care and wellness by using what has always helped her through challenging times – sound.

Lacey has a Bachelor of Science in Music from Northeastern University, a certification in Vibrational Sound Therapy plus over three years of chakra study with Shiva Shakti School of Yoga.  A former music supervisor and DJ, she has always been fascinated by the way sound influences emotions and behavior.

After experiencing burnout, Lacey left her corporate job and founded Be Golden Sounds.  Over the years, she has tried many different forms of self-care and wellness. Now her focus is on using the power of sound vibrations to help others relax, reset, and connect with themselves.

When facilitating sound baths, Lacey combines her knowledge of music theory, chakras and mindfulness with a deep inner connection and passion for this healing modality to create a deeply relaxing experience.

Born and raised on Long Island’s North Fork, Lacey feels a deep connection to the water and incorporates its serenity into her practice.

At Be Golden Sounds, our mission is to support your self-care by holding a space for you to pause, relax and reset with sound vibrations, music and guided meditation.

We are living in an era where hyper-productivity is glorified. Always plugged in, we are bombarded with options and our attention is being pulled in a thousand directions.  When you are living most of your waking hours on autopilot and trudging through the daily grind just to make it to Friday, burnout’s poisonous tentacles can wrap around you and have you in a chokehold before you realize how far down in its dark depths you already are.

Burnout is real.  Its effects are detrimental to our physical and mental health.  When your nervous system is operating in a constant state of fight, flight or freeze, it doesn’t repair itself.  This contributes to pain, illness, inflammation and disease.

Now, more than ever, it’s easy to be disconnected from our mind and body.  Living in this disconnected state makes us more likely to hit burnout.  Self-care is critical if you no longer want to live this way.  Self-care is about recognizing and meeting your own needs, creating balance, and protecting your energy so you can live more fully in the present and handle life’s challenges effectively.  You are the only one that can prioritize your self-care.

Whether you’re recovering from burnout or just looking to let go of daily stress, join us for a sound bath featuring high-quality sound healing instruments and let the sounds ease you into a state of deep relaxation.

Our vision is to make wellness approachable.

You don’t need to overhaul your current lifestyle to receive the benefits.  Our goal is to build a supportive community and facilitate innovative immersive experiences that provide mind, body and soul nourishing relaxation so you can feel a little better every day.

Located on the South Shore of Long Island with roots on the North Fork, Be Golden Sounds is inspired by the sound of the waves crashing down. “Be Golden” represents the magical feeling of golden hour at the beach… that peaceful bliss felt at the end of a warm summer day - serenity, ease, joy, and surrender - embraced by a warm hazy glow.
